Family-Based Interventions: Supporting Survivors of Sexual Exploitation

Cost$0.00
DescriptionThis webinar will be co-led by Shannon Traore, Program Manager & Adrienne Hoffman-Lewis, Project Specialist of Family Advocacy Division at National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation whose mission is to help find missing children, reduce child sexual exploitation, and prevent child victimization. NCMEC works with families, victims, private industry, law enforcement, and the public to assist with preventing child abductions, recovering missing children, and providing services to deter and combat child sexual exploitation. We do this with a dedicated army of community partners called the Family Advocacy Outreach Network (FAON). Growing this team is a daily task as we continue to find families in isolated areas of the U.S. with very specific needs. Whether the isolation is in resource availability or geographic area, it is vital to know we have people to call on when families need interventions. Please join us to hear more about how families are supported at NCMEC, what abduction and exploitation trends we are seeing and how you can be an important part of the healing families so desperately need.
